almost done

I'm trying not to let myself feel too guilty about neglecting my blog for such a long time. However, I have succumbed to the guilt of neglect.  In my defense I can’t remember the last time I felt this stressed out.

As mentioned before my husband and I are planning to open a book shop, as we both have full time jobs it has been a real challenge trying to juggle everything for the grand opening.

We are almost there now and are hoping to open on Friday. Our new shop is in the lovely Natal Midlands.  Here are a few pics that Jess took using her Lomo camera of the Midlands.  I will post a full update once the shop is open. And as for ART – I’m missing my paint brushes soooo much.

  6. Yes dear Clare - please NEVER feel guilty about not blogging - writing those lovely posts is for your and our pleasure of course - but we all have things else to do and many urgent other responsibilities, so we all understand! The important thing is that you are fine and well - you will find time again for writing and for painting, do not worry, but look forward to it! I also, like all your blogger friends, wish you and your husband success with the book shop - I find this such a wonderful idea and I hope it will work out really good! Hugs and a Smile!

  11. That is the problem with new ventures other things we need to dip our hearts into must be put aside.
I am sure things will settle down in time!

  14. A bookstore!! How exciting!!! i can't wait to see it come to life...

Clare, get rid of that guilt about not blogging. Sometimes, other things are calling. You'll be back when the time is right. If you were blogging, you'd probably feel guilty about neglecting the book store, so remember that you're doing EXACTLY what you're meant to be doing at this time. :-)

Happy Holidays to you & your family. Here's to a creative 2012! xoxo
